Wins list
The in-public ledger for Own The Bid's first five contractors.
Why this page exists: builders trust other builders before they trust marketers. The wins list is a public ledger, kept in real time, that names every contractor we ship work for. Empty slots stay empty until they fill. We do not stage logos, we do not buy testimonials, and we do not move a slot to “in progress” until a contract is signed.
How the slots work
The first five contractors get founder pricing in writing. When a slot is filled, the contractor's name (with their permission) and a one-line description of the engagement appear on this page. When the work ships, the line updates to reflect what was actually delivered. If a contractor prefers to stay anonymous, the slot shows “named privately” with the engagement type only.
Slot status
- Slot 1. Open. The first issue of The Brick n' Mortar Daily ships pre-launch; the first contractor slot is open as of the date of this page.
- Slot 2. Open.
- Slot 3. Open.
- Slot 4. Open.
- Slot 5. Open.
What goes on a filled slot
When a slot fills, the entry will name the contractor (or note that they chose privacy), the trade and the service area, the engagement type (one-time funnel build plus monthly management is the default offer), and the date the work shipped. As outcomes become measurable, the entry adds the result the contractor agreed to publish.
What does not go here
Logos for businesses we did not work for. Testimonials we wrote ourselves. Anonymous “case studies” with no underlying contract. Reframed outcomes that overclaim what was delivered. The list is the list; if a row is not on it, the work is not done.
